Young at Heart Christian Preschool offers an excellent program for only $175 a month.
Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9:00 a.m. to noon
We are located in New Albany in the Silver Street United Methodist church. We have tons of fun and learn a lot. We do several activities, go on field trips, have graduation and Christmas programs, holiday parties, science, cooking, and art projects, along with learning about season themes, recognize and write letters and their sounds, recognize and write numbers up to 20. The children als0 learn to count to 100, say the pledges to American flag and Bible, right and left hand, Bible stories, finger plays, songs, and poems. We read lo lots of fabulous books. We will have inside and outside play time and much more.
We use Abeka curriculum along with other wonderful resources.

Shawna Young
Shawna has taught preschool age children for over twenty-five years and has owned Young at Heart Christian Preschool, LLC for fourteen years. She has a passion for teaching and enjoys finding fun activities to reinforce lessons. She has served as a Sunday School Superintendent, Children’s Ministry Director, and Children’s minister. She is married to a Navy veteran and has four children. Shawna is also a contemporary Christian fiction author. Her two published books are titled The Unsuspecting Heather Meyers and The Visitor Plays a Game. Along with writing novels, she also writes VBS curriculum, Christmas plays, and church skits. .
